About Me
I live in Oregon and love to stay active by chasing the sunshine and going after my favorite pastimes, including dancing, gardening, paddleboarding, spending time with my grown daughter, and traveling in my adventure van. I also enjoy water skiing, snow skiing, and hiking. During the summer months, I work remotely while traveling with my two senior Chihuahuas.
I was raised by entrepreneurial parents, and my journey toward achieving my dreams began four years after high school when I enrolled in college full-time. I moved to Nampa, Idaho, and earned my Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Northwest Nazarene University in 1996. Obtaining my bachelor's degree has always been a dream of mine. I worked hard to reach my goal, and I also attribute my success to the wonderful individuals I met along the way who positively influenced my life and decisions.
I began my career in Human Resources in 2001 and soon realized the importance of having a well-structured HR system. I understood the need to communicate workplace expectations clearly to employees. I believe having clear policies for employees to understand and follow is vital for any organization. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge of employment functions and workplace protocols. As a people leader, I have learned how to build and manage a cohesive team. Initially, I worked in the dental office, staffing industry, and corporate HR departments, where I thrived in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. However, I soon realized there was a ceiling to my growth opportunities in these fields. Therefore, I decided to pursue my dream of starting my own HR Company. With the encouragement and support of my family, colleagues, and friends, I was able to turn my dream into a reality.
My business was created to support and strengthen others and help small business owners with their HR functions so they can focus on building their dreams. I am a big supporter of entrepreneurs, and by working together, we can achieve all our dreams and shape our future. The sky is the limit!
